2022 in ReviewNewcomers The Warning, along with support from Canadian Alessia Cara, are #1 on our year-end chart for 2022! That sort of sets the theme for teh year - multi-act collaborations. Our year-end chart features artists from 19 countries: 25 from the US, 5 from Canada, 8 from Germany, 4 each from Mexico and Argentina; 3 each from Ukraine, Switzerland, Italy and Chile; 2 each from the UK and Russia, and 1 apiece from Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Hungary, Tunisia, Japan, Brazil and Turkey. One band from Russia repatriated to Turkey because of the war in Ukraine.Nine bands have more than 1 hit on our chart, including 4 each from The Warning (#1, 11, 12 & 15), Halestorm (#14, 21, 26 & 32), Eva Under Fire (#8, 9, 24 & 50); 3 each from Walk in Darkness (#4, 28 & 41), Van Canto (#5, 28 & 40), Chaos Magic (#6, 17 & 48), and Inner Stream (#16, 42 & 44). Imperial Age has 2 hits on this chart (#23, #42), as does Ad Infinitum (#37, #46). In addition to her appearances in Halestorm, Lzzy Hale also appears at #7, Amy Lee of Evanescence is also at #21, Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless is also at # 7, and there's Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum also appearing at #45. |
